Quote:
Ann Ellen Smith, born 1837 in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire,
Marriage(1) to Thomas Jones, Marriage(2) to John Smith.

At some stage before 1859, Ann Ellen had moved
to Oldham, Lancashire, and then by 1869, to
Stanningley, near Pudsey, West Riding Yorkshire.

Son of Thomas and Ann Ellen JONES was:
Jeremiah, born 1860 in Bridgnorth, Shropshire,
(and ?? their daughter.......
Emma, born 1859 in Oldham Lancs)

Daughter of John and Ann Ellen SMITH was:
Isabel Smith, born in 1869 in Stanningley, WRY.
(Isabel married John Heaton)

Frank - You might already have the following information - but if not........
here are some notes for you - for if and when you next call in here.

From records' indexes.....

Thomas, Ann Ellen age 24, and Jeremiah age 1 were living in Oldham.
Possible marriage to John Smith..........

Oldham 1871 Census Index includes..
SMITH, John, and Ann age 33.
An Emma SMITH, age 12 also indexed but ?whether
same household.
Pudsey 1881 Census Index includes one "long-shot"...
John Smith, age 39, born Warwick (occ Saddler)
others at that household - born in Stanningley.
