At some stage before 1859, Ann Ellen had moved to Oldham, Lancashire, and then by 1869, to Stanningley, near Pudsey, West Riding Yorkshire.
Son of Thomas and Ann Ellen JONES was: Jeremiah, born 1860 in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, (and ?? their daughter....... Emma, born 1859 in Oldham Lancs)
Daughter of John and Ann Ellen SMITH was: Isabel Smith, born in 1869 in Stanningley, WRY. (Isabel married John Heaton) |

From records' indexes..... 1861 Census - appears that the Jones's - Thomas, Ann Ellen age 24, and Jeremiah age 1 were living in Oldham. Possible marriage to John Smith.......... Jan-March 1868 Ann Jones m John Smith at St John the Baptist, Smallbridge (registers at Rochdale) Oldham 1871 Census Index includes.. SMITH, John, and Ann age 33. An Emma SMITH, age 12 also indexed but ?whether same household. Pudsey 1881 Census Index includes one "long-shot"...
