His name was Christopher, known as Kit, and he was born in Ingleton in 1875 to William and Elizabeth. He was still in Ingleton, single, on the 1901 census but then married and had a family. I believe that a grandson(??) is still living in Barnoldswick as he visited a relative in Ingleton in the last year or two. I paid a flying visit to Barnoldswick Library today to look at their electoral registers, but the earliest they have is 1935. By the time this was found, didn't have time to study it. Checked burials up to 1954 for Christopher, but didn't find him. He possibly married a Margaret Burrows prior to his move, but not confirmed yet. Ring any bells with anyone?
