Hi beemnut and Welcome to Smith Chat,
Its always good to be able to greet another new member. We'll look forward to chatting to you when you're ready to post, & to learning about your Smith & related surnames family history interests.
As well as the
>>>Genealogy Boards>>> - please also feel free to call in the
>>>Social Club - chit-chat>>> - any time. Don recently started the Beagle Log - so would be nice to have more of our Members joining in with that too.....
>>The Beagle Log Introduction and Index >> If you're unsure where to post first, this might help you to decide :ck-wink: ....
>>>FAQ: Where do I post my first..... >>>Chat soon
PS; I understand now that your Smith interests are of the Ulverston area. That's good to know - as Smith quite uncommon in North Lancashire compared to other Lancs areas, isn't it? - or I should say - wasn't it, in the "old days"!

- Mine are West Riding Yorks & East Lancs - much more common here!
