Summary of Interests/Message My GGGrandfather was named Robert Smith born around 1838.
Information from the 1871 and 1881 census': Robert's wife was Margaret and his children were James, John, Mary Jane and Isabella.
Mary Jane Smith was my GGrandmother, married twice becoming a Sellars then a Tootle.
Its Robert and Margaret Smith now have interest in if anyone out there can help.
Robert was a stonemason and they lived for a time at Blackburn Rd Great Harwood, then to 13 Clinkham.
About Clinkham. A row of cottages which I believe later became known as Edge End row. A quarry of the same name (Clinkham) was located behind the cottages. The quarry is long gone ..used as landfill in the seventies.
