Dear Sir,
Baitings and Monshead Farms.
The Waterworks Committee have agreed to let you the above farms as per your offer, vis:-
Rent, One hundred pounds per year;Landlords to allow lime to the value of Fourteen pounds per year of the tenancy, at Ripponden station- the corporation to be at liberty to take over any land they require for the purpose of their Waterworks Udertaking with out notice making a reasonable reduction in rent for the land so taken, Night Soil is not to be used as manure on any part of the farm, the fields on the S.E. side of the road between Rochdale and Halifax to be limed ONLY and the usual terms at persen applying to the farm.
