Please can you help Re Smith Family of Pudsey

I am really struggling to find information on the Smith branch of my family. So any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Eleanor TROTH the lady in question was born in 1837 in Henley in Arden, Warks. This info was from the 1841 census. In the 1851 census she is known as Anna Ellen FROTH and is employed as a servant in Wolverton, Warks.

She then disapears from the scene, but turns up in the 1881 census as Ann Ellen TROTH, and is living with her son and two daughters in PUDSEY, W.R. YORKSHIRE.

In 1891 in the census she is Ann Hele. SMITH. Her son and two daughters are now also called SMITH.

In the 1901 census she is Ellen A SMITH, living with Ethel Minnie SMITH, [my grandma] Jeremiah and Isabel are now married and moved out. Emma is now a Methodist Lay Preacher.

On the marriage certificates of Isabel and Jeremiah they both have stated father John SMITH deceased. But I cannot find any information or reference to any father or husband.

Please can you help it`s driving me up the wall and back again.

In addition to all this all the four members of this family have changed their places and dates of birth on more than one occasion, along with variations of their surnames.

Any help would be sincerely welcome. Thank you. Frank.
