| Thank You. for the warm greetings and hello. This is my first time joining a group such as this. I am a descendant of Robert Smith. His son was Thomas Smith b. Manchester, Lancashire. His son William Henry Smith b. abt 1847 Manchester Lancashire m. Mary Ann Buxton 27 Nov 1864 in Chester, Cheshire. She was b. Sheffield abt 1845. Their son was Frederick William Smith (my grandfather-pipe organ builder) b abt 1871 in Hazel Grove and died 08 Aug 1948 in Alameda, California, USA. He married Sarah Ann Brown daughter of William Brown and Fanny Kinder. She was born abt 1876 in Huddersfield and died in Alameda, California.Charles Frederick Smith my father, born in Norwich.Sylvia |
