PostSubject: Relationship Chart   Tue 8 May 2007 - 20:39

mattycat told me about this excellent Chart she came across
at the Mormon Site www.mormonhaven.com

Link: Relationship Chart

This is a great help in working out your "official" relationships to all your so many times "removed" cousins, etc. I for one always get confused with all this.

On here I see that my own relationship to my first cousin's grandchildren is
"first cousin twice removed",
but my grandchildren and my first cousin's grandchildren are
"third cousins" to each other.

Thanks mattycat for sending me this link good stuff!!

I came across the relationship chart some years ago and printed one off, I find it very useful. So I searched again for the site to let you all know.

Thanks mattycat, I'm glad you did, I've never been to that site before. I'm sure a lot of other researchers will find the Chart very useful too. I think I shall print one out for my paper file as well - good idea.

Carole good stuff!!
