Very Happy Hi earth2smiths,

.......... thanks very much for sharing that information about your Lucas connection on Judy's Topic, for the chance it could help her. I know you've also posted about your Smiths & Lucas's on your own Topics too.

Hiya Carole, I've registered with a couple of other sites recently, Gloucestershire ancestry and Great War which are both good.

Also, I'm sorting through all my old notes/scraps/paperwork etc to see what I've duplicated and what I can throw out so have'nt had much time to stop to chat.

And, some good news, I am in contact with my new-found Delaney relatives and we're busy swapping information on my grandmother and their grandfather who were brother and sister. Very Happy

It all helps to soften the dissapointment of the brickwalls doesn't it?

Hi earth2smiths and Daz,

Yes that's great news Maureen about your contact with your Delaney relatives. I noticed you mentioned Gloucestershire & Herefordshire. I haven't started a Herefordshire links list yet - but started a Gloucester one a while back. Have only got a couple of Glos Genealogy sites links on there yet - so if you come across any others that include databases, would be really grateful if you'd add them to this list Maureen.

Keep searching for our rels - we'll find them all eventually!! good stuff!!
