All of the Forums included in the "Forums Index" (see screenprint above)
are accessible for reading by anyone, and for posting by any logged-in member.
EXCEPT - the last two Forums:
"Special Permissions Boards" (for Special Permissions Group only)
and
"Smith Project Members Online Office" includes.......
One board for all logged-in members, other boards for Red Usergroup only.
(ie- the Smith Project Lan-WRY-IoM Usergroup)

Using the Navigation String Links

Another quick way to return to the "Forums Index" is by clicking anywhere
on the main banner at the top of all Smith Chat pages.


So that's 3 methods for quick return to the "Forums Index"
from any other page at Smith Chat:-

Main Banner, as above.
Button on Gold Bar Menu

Explorer-type navigation string at the top of any topic or board
Click on first link in string = "Smith Chat ::"

The explorer-type navigation string
differs according to which board you are in at any time,
and indicates the route you have taken to navigate there.....

Part 7: Navigating to another Forum and within its Boards

Read the instructions below and then try it.........
Use one of the 3 routes as mentioned above, to return to the "Forums Index" page.

Then - do the following, as illustrated on the screenprints below........
Go to the Forum "SMITHs Around the British Isles",
then into the Board "Other Counties ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, WALES",
then to the Announcement Topic "Site Navigation Help (Part 8).






nb: to keep this instructions page open whilst you
do the navigation in another window, you can do this -
Right-click on one of the 3 links to return to "Forums Index"
and select "open in a new window".
