To use the Private Messaging Facilities to Contact other Users.
You are interested in a Topic posted by another User, but don't want your reply to appear in the public Forums. Use the "Private Messages" facility (or "Email" facility if the User has enabled it)

First you will need to......
1) Register at the Forums, if not already. (Top Menu :reg): )
2) Login with your Username and password, if not already. (Top Menu Big Smile: > wave )

3) Return to the Topic that interests you.

See the Buttons at the foot of the message you're now reading (or any message on the Board). You should see between two to four of these buttons, depending upon what has been enabled by this User.
[profile] [pm] [email] [www]

[profile] = Click to view the User's Profile Information.

[pm] = Click on here to send the User a Private Message.

nb: to be notified by email when you have a new Private Message -
In your Profile preferences, you need to check "yes" for
    "Notify on new Private Message"
[email] = click to send email

the User has enabled Email by checking one of these options in his/her Profile preferences..........
    "By a website form" =
online form via Smith Chat Platform, so email addresses are hidden; or
    "By client email software" =
regular method of emailing (via outlook express, etc)
[www] = click on this to visit the User's own website.

If you think anything has been omitted from these Help Notes - please let me know.

Thanks,
Carole wave
