The time had come this morning to take puss cat to the vets. She collapsed last night and this morning we made the decision to have her put to sleep. She had had a good life at 16 years of age and has put up with every animal we ever brought home.

Hi Maxine

Sorry to hear about your cat. I had to have my dog Sam put to sleep 2 years ago. He was 17 and had had a good life.

Love JFS

Hi Maxine,

So sorry to read your news here about Puss cat. I know that you'd been nursing her the night before that, & had thought you might have to take her to the Vets. You must be feeling very sad right now, but she'll now be at Rainbow Bridge ck-smile with all our pets. I hope that she meets my kitten Tiny there - who died last year, & maybe she will look after her for me.

Puss cat (hearts) and Tiny (hearts) now together at Rainbow Bridge

Carole thank you for that,

I was up with her and i said everything i had to say to her and yes they could be there in spirt together.

My vets send all decesed pets to Rossendale pet cemtery and her ashes will be spread there.

I Do miss her but i have always said i will get another cat when she went and i think one found me today...Friends of ours own a farm and they had sent this cat out to a new home but i find out that they brought her back last week with kittens! So i had a look at them today and as i was there, there was one that caught my eye bit they are not old enough to leave mum yet.

Hi Maxine,

Yes it sounds as though you and the new kitten were meant to find each other today! So it won't be long before you have a new kit in the house. That'll be lovely. And Puss cat isn't suffering any more as she was after she became ill - so you know she's OK now.

Chat again over the weekend Maxine.
