I am looking for any help I can get tracing Charles Smith (1808) (a butcher in Liverpool) who married Elizabeth ****
Their eldest child Edward was born in 1836 so I assume they married before civil reg.
I visited Liverpool RO to search for the marriage but there are 2 CSs who married an Elizabeth at St Peters & I cant decide which one is mine.
They had children Edward (1836), Charles (1838), William (1841), Thomas (1843) my GGF & Mary (1848)
Thomas became another butcher & moved to B'head.
His son Richard (1879) my GF was also a butcher at B'head lairage.
Does anyone recognise this family

Hello and thanks for posting your information. I can't help you but I do hope someone else will recognise your family. The fact you know they were butchers should help. Good luck with the search, Gillian
