In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound
But lie so quietly on the ground
Until the wind comes puffing by
And blows them off towards the sky.

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you
like the leaves of Autumn.

Fall poem by John Muir

That's lovely Maxine, thank you.
I'd only been thinking yesterday, whilst I was stood at the kitchen window, washing up, & looking out there at all the trees - and how that scene has gradually changed over the last 2 or 3 weeks. From the lovely bright green to the gold and now the trees are almost bare, and the golden and brown leaves covering the pathways.

A tree through the Seasons.
