A 16 mm life.

The story of my life.
I run on film now in my mind.
That God could bless me with the gift.
To take it and re-wind.

But the bit’s that I may edit.
And cast down on the floor.
Could be the ones that shaped my life.
Now gone forever more.

The good, the bad, the ugly.
No matter how they seem.
Are all the stepping stones I took.
To here from where I’ve been.

The romance and the horror.
The travel and the crime.
They all became a part of me.
Each night they come to dine.

It’s a question of acceptance.
And of what you want to bare.
Of that you want to live with.
And of that you want to share.
