Samlesbury
Jeremiah Smith weaver 42 wife 40 and a boy
Bernard Smith weaver 50 wife 52 3 day cotton spinners
(said of the whole list at Samlesbury:- All these, except two or three and their predecessors have been in and born in the said township of Samlesbury in the memory of the oldest man here living)

Ribchester
Jeremiah Smith farmer age 44, Cicely his wife 40 Richard his son 15 George 14 Margaret 10 Alice 8 John 6 Ellin 4. This family has always resided here
