Part 9 : Using the "Jump to" drop-down menu shortcuts.

Now that you have a better understanding of the forums hierarchical structure, and that the main Forums Index page is the "root" of all navigation strings, you'll be able to use the shortcuts menu without feeling you're getting lost.

This final part........
1) will show you where you're going to jump to.
2) will show you how to find and use this sub-board's "jump to" drop-down menu.
3) will invite you to post feedback.

As you see on the screenprint below, the "Jump to" drop down menu reflects the hierarchical set up of the forums, boards and sub-boards, that you're
now already familiar with.

You are going to jump to "Coffee-break Chit-Chat".



From where you are now reading, in a moment do this......

Scroll up to the navigation string links at the top of the Topic:

Click on the last link in the string "LANCASHIRE EAST & SOUTH-EAST"
to take you back to this sub-board's index page 1.

Scroll down to the "Jump to" drop-down menu, at the bottom right of the index page. (same applies on all other boards)

As illustrated on the screenprint above:
Select "Coffee-Break Chit-Chat"
Click "Go".
