Jodie Prenger - Flying the flag for Lancashire!!

Hi everyone,
Has anyone in UK been watching with interest, as I have, the Andrew Lloyd Weber auditioning series "I'll do Anything" to find the new Nancy & Oliver?

Well!! Congratulations to Blackpool's Jodie Prenger, for her fabulous performances which have won for her the part of Nancy in the next West End production of "Oliver", which is I think to begin in January 2009.

By all accounts Jodie received a fabulous "welcoming home" by the Blackpool folks on her return to the town, after the 12 week series.

"Jodie Prenger received a mighty welcome home when hundreds of people gathered in Talbot Square to congratulate the Blackpool star on landing her dream West End role....."
