The legend goes that St.Patrick charmed the snakes into the sea and out of Ireland. It is true that there are no snakes in Ireland but it is possible that there have never been.

Laughing ho ho ho!! hi again sirromy - I've just written to you on your Smith Topic here
>>Ireland - Smith's of County Wexford >>

Anyway - thanks for your comments on here, and after the 2 weeks "restricted access", if you can remember, please will you remind me and we'll put a new Topic up on this board - the correct story of St Patrick and the Druids. Would be grateful for any references you have that I could follow up.

Thanks again,

Carole Very Happy
