The legend goes that St.Patrick charmed the snakes into the sea and out of Ireland. It is true that there are no snakes in Ireland but it is possible that there have never been.

Ruh Roh..you guys better read up on St. Patrick's so called snakes! The true story is that St. Patrick drove the DRUIDS from the land of Ireland..the so called snakes! There never were true snakes in Ireland..only druids who he wanted out. ::
Anyway - thanks for your comments on here, and after the 2 weeks "restricted access", if you can remember, please will you remind me and we'll put a new Topic up on this board - the correct story of St Patrick and the Druids. Would be grateful for any references you have that I could follow up.
