PostSubject: Ireland - Smith's of County Wexford   Sat 30 Aug 2008 - 17:09

Thomas Smith b. c. 1795, butcher of Co. Wexford. Daughter Catherine married in L'Pool to Peter Bryan/O'Brien (also of Wexford) 28 May 1839 at St. Mary's Edmund St., witn were James Gaul and Bridget Kevlin. Appears that Thomas also had sons in L'pool named Henry, James and Patrick (also butcher). Have had no success locating in Wexford yet, about 1/2 the parishes searched to date. It would have been so nice if England had included mother's names on something!

Any clues or suggestions accepted with a :ck-grin:

wave Hello sirromy,

Sorry to see you've had no response to this yet. I was absent from the site for a few weeks August-September, and still catching up with new members. Thank you very much for sharing your Irish Smith interests.

I'm just preparing to switch the site into "Restricted Access" for 2 weeks - which will be done tonight (BST) sometime during the next 2 hours. You'll still be able to access the site, but unable to post for those 2 weeks. I'll chat to you again then and we'll put a copy of your message on the Liverpool area board too, unless that's been done already. In the meantime - good luck - and don't give up on your brick walls good stuff!!

You've been included in the Green Usergroup - Smith of other counties
so your username sirromy should now display in green. And your Topic is pinned to the Calendar for a few days.
