Bangor Abbey County Down Northern Ireland.

This is an ancient Irish site of worship with hills and sea surrounding it where worship dates back to C6.

Comgall was one of the early abbots and he is listed in the Antiphonary, 36 leaves of parchment written in characteristic Irish hand dating back to C7, which is stored in the Ambrosian Library in Milan, Italy. The Antiphonary also contains songs, psalms hymns and prayers from that early period in Irish religious history.

The tower of the present building dates back to C14.
