Hi all.
Friday night, tired out and having a glass or two of red and where is Don???. Only joking Don.
Hope everyone had a good week, I am just feeling a bit tired. I would like to write some verse but I think it left by the back door this week. I just need some sleep. So I will take this weary ass to bed and maybe wake up with a better heart.

Daz,

Thanks for thinking of me. It’s been a quite week. I attended a class at OLLI this week on the Peloponnesian War. I knew what the war was about in general but specifics were interesting. It gets down to language – words mean things. From Sparta’s view an interpretation of a key concept was “fair laws”. Whereas the Athenians’ interpretation was “just laws”.

I got a car emissions inspection and registration for my son, walked the dogs a few times, mowed the lawn, and made some home repairs/improvements.

I am waiting for the weather to cool down a bit. I’m planning a photo trip to the National Zoo. I have not been down there for several years and it would be great place to “play” with my camera.

The Beagle Log has been quite recently. I need to find some new topics. I will be providing an update to American Politics, probably in mid-September, after the two conventions have been held. Reviewing events of the past week leads me a Beagle Log topic – Summertime.
