| Good Morning, the weekend is here.
Yesterday's Beagle log featured a photo taken on the west end of the National Mall located in Washington D.C. Photo was of the Reflecting Pool, [/color]Washington Monument and the Capital Building in the background and the question asked was from what vantage point the photo was taken from.
The answer, it was taken from the upper platform of the Lincoln Memorial, pictured below. Specific location was from between the two left most columns.

This statute of Prsident Linclon is located in the memorial. The statue stands 19 feet 9 inches (6 m) tall and 19 feet (6 m) wide, and was carved from 28 blocks of white Georgia marble. For more information go to:
