| Good Morning,
I’ve been painting, or preparing rooms for painting, for the past couple days and have no prepared posting for today. But to build on this, what has been your painting experience?
I am currently painting the living and dining rooms. Move out the furniture, wash the walls, and buy the paint. Buying the paint is the most challenging. Need to first convince the wife as to the color needed; then get the color she wants. After painting the first wall, convincing her it really is the color she wanted; then head back to the store to get the right color.
By late yesterday, walls are painted but in need a second coat (this happens when you change colors). Wood trim (baseboards, windows, etc) also needs to be painted. I see another day and a half engagement with a paint brush and roller. By late Friday I may be able to start moving furniture back into the rooms.

| Hi Don! I'm really pleased to hear that the true expert is in charge in your house! What would you do without her? No ,Don, perhaps you'd better not answer that!
This is a watercolour of a lovely old Somerset house that my husband knew well as a child. Cheers Gillian _________________ ''What will survive of us is love.'' Philip Larkin |

| Hi I used to do all the decorating in our house and i always get myself covered in paint more than the walls or ceiling. | Gillian, looks like a lovely house, wonder what it would sell for today. You started to ask what I'd do if ... the ice is getting thin. Maxine, my real preference for painting is a single color and a spray gun. Unfortunately I cant’ sell this idea. _________________ Don |
