Thank you Maxine and it is good to see you back chatting away!

On Sunday we celebrated my birthday in advance and many of the family came to share with us. Only those who were really too far away were absent so we had a wonderful time. The weather was so beautiful that we could be out in the garden, which meant there was plenty of room. Yesterday was spent recovering! I easily get exhausted I'm afraid and I had to wash all the tablecloths, which is a chore but I love to use them for 'special' occasions. I also had lots of phone calls so I am very content! I love the cards I get from the very young grandchildren! They are covered in wonderful scribbles and characterful pictures, full of good thoughts and love.

Today is another lovely day with more washing blowing on the line!
