Hi All.
So whats happened. It seems a little quite around here. You all still out there?
I am back to fitness so to speak and starting back at work on Monday.
Had a bit of a problem with pneumonia and a partially blocked intestine.
Won't go into that but a bit of deja vu. After telling you my story of my ruptured liver in the car crash, it seems that the scar tissue from the operation caused the blockage. Consultant said scar tissue can build for up to 30 years. This was 28 years, so it could have waited a couple more.
Had a Barium scan last Tuesday and now waiting for results.
Still every breath is a bonus.....lol
Hope the rest of you are ok. I'm sorry I haven't been on but with two young boys it's a bit hectic. I do promise now that come rain or shine I will be on and contributing 3 or 4 times a week. Let's keep it going eh!!

Good to see you’re doing well. Traffic has been slow the past few weeks but will hopefully, pick up. I have been a bit remiss in new “Beagle Log” postings, but have a few new thoughts I will try later.

Hola everyone!

It is good to see some posts and to know that Daz is feeling better. Let us hope that some summer weather comes along to improve life for us all. I shall be back in the UK by next weekend so I hope the higher temperatures will return.

We have just had another thunderstorm and I had to make a hasty exit from the pool again! I think someone must be trying to catch me out with a bolt of lightening.

Good to hear from you Daz, Yes its been quite but with this stupid ME I have not been on best form for the past few days. But I have new pics of the baby ferrets to post in a short while- need to find the card reader.

Sorry to hear about your health problems Daz, but very glad to hear you're now on the mend. Heck - what a time you've had Daz! Will talk to you more about it all later. Saw your mum and dad last week briefly at my mum's house - when I went there with Ben.

Don, Gillian and Maxine - you've been great this last few weeks, keeping things running here whilst I've been absent. Bound to have quiet periods sometimes, but its good that we still keep moving on in spite of it - even if slowly. Anyway - I'm gradually getting back into everything now - and have just written a separate new topic here in chit-chat (before I realised that you were also online and had written here Maxine). Looking forward to hearing more about your new baby ferrets, Maxine, and the pics.

Oh heck - and I missed your birthday party Don! on the 6th May ck-sad

& several other members' birthdays too by the look of it. And Don I'm reading through the recent Beagle Logs & catching up with those. They're great!

Gillian, I think your wish might have been granted about better weather here in north west England for your return next weekend. Fingers crossed!! Lovely sunny day today, so going to hang some washing out now. Will be back soon to do some more catch ups

PS: Just realised - 28th April & 6th May - think that must mean that Maxine and Don are of the same Zodiac sign?? The one that comes before Gemini?? (I know that begins about 21st May - because my son and his 2 sons are all Geminis)

Aaah Taurus that's the one. My Grandad Smith was a Taurus - his birthday was early May too, and I want to add something special about my Grandad on our Personal Tributes Board, before May is out.

Just been watching the Fergie, Duchess of Kent documentary - her visit to England (from New York where it seems she lives most of the time now) to work with a family on a Council Estate in Hull. I thought it was quite moving at the end when she was leaving them and they were all very emotional when saying Goodbye to her. And so was she. But it seems she's going back to work with them some more - so looking forward to the next episode. I have seen Fergie in a very different light now to how I previously viewed her. How wonderful to do what she is attempting to achieve - I hope it is successful. If I understood correctly, she has already done a lot of similar work in the US, successfully helping those who need it - to achieve healthier lifestyles on low incomes, & now she wants to do the same in Britain.

Hi all.
Nice to see everyone is chipper. Isn't it great to hear from Chellin again. Caz, Maxine, Gillian, Don, your posts are always great. I have been remiss lately. I started back at work yesterday and have just felt very tired at the end of the day. Had to have a couple of hours sleep when I got home.
My sister Lynne is out in Spain Gillian, she flew out last Saturday. Hope the weather picks up for you.
Lots of sunny spells at the moment here, then again we have waited long enough for them.
