Here we are again!

Hola everyone and welcome back!

We have had visitors in the last seven days and the weather was very kind to them! They enjoyed BBQs and eating outdoors generally although we had to shelter from the sun periodically. They swam in the pool and needed to be revived with hot drinks etc afterwards it has to b admitted! They went through bottles of suncream and still managed to 'glow' in the evenings, especially the one with the least hair.

They have now returned to Scotland and are wallowing in snowdrifts we hear. Our part of Spain is now supposed to be in the grip of torrential rain but we haven't seen a drop yet and the pressure is rising so perhaps we shall miss out. This morning we went to the market and bought our fruit and vegetables. Since lunch we have been gardening in the hope that there will be a heavy shower later. I plan to have a swim soon as it is still very warm although rather overcast.

Hiya Gillian,

Well this last week I've played a small past in helping Kayleigh and Chris, granddaughter of my friend, to move into their first home. Took them for curtins etc and generally got in the way on moving day as i cant do a lot.
Joannes back in college at last. Lees gone for a job trial today.
Yes we have had snow it was one sat night and on and off all day sunday but today its bright and sunny.

Hola Maxine!

Sounds like you have been busy too! I have now had my swim and been revived by a hot cup of tea. We are about to prepare our evening meal as it is 5.45pm here. The trouble with swimming is it gives me such an appetite and that is not what I want at all!

It’s nice to see everyone back. Weather here is cool and damp – not a good time for a swim. I think we are done with snow for this season. Actually, we have had very little this year. Have started working outside with the garden and lawn, maybe a little premature, but it will be that mush less to do later.
