Good morning to all our members and guests

The daffodils around the green areas in my neighbourhood have opened up their golden blooms today! and the daff buds in my garden are ready for opening up any time now!!
Ooooh what a lovely thought - Spring is on its way in. So, a bit early - but decided to change our Winter Snowman Banner for the new Spring banner at the top of Smith Chat pages.
Yes that's refreshing. Very Happy

The "Daffodils in pots" image above is adapted from an animated version that I received in an E-Card, from a lovely Free E-Card site - (which I'll give a plug because of the good work they do).......Using their motto...........

Great Minds think a like...I was thinking that we need to change the banner as Spring is in the air with snow on Monday night/tuesdy morning, which was just a hick-up.

March was in like a Lion so it will go out like a Lamb!

Hi all,

Yes the Spring flowers and new green buds on the trees are appearing slowly but surely!! Very Happy

But according to the weather forecast, here in North England, Wales & Scotland from Sunday Night and into Monday - we are going to have what could be treacherous gails, with winds up to 80 miles per hour, it said on telly this mornin!! ck-hrrmm

And advising everyone to stay home. So it looks as though March's Lion is not leaving us yet Maxine.

Well lets think positive - tis supposed to be sunny tomorrow (Sunday) before the gails start.

Hi Carole

Nice to see the Spring banner, but as you say we can't put Winter behind us just yet. We have had rain and wind for the last week with more to come. Weather in America not looking too good either. We will just have to grin and bear it and hope March goes out like a lamb.

: like the new banner the flowers are waking up i have two new apple trees just starting to put thier shoots out of the soil and the rhubarb is comming through too hope this year is a bit drier than last as its not good for the onions to be tto wet

Hola from Sunny Spain!

Here the jasmine is in flower and the blossom is starting to appear on the citrus trees. We have hyacinths in the garden but not a daffodil to be seen here anywhere.

Hola everyone!

Forgot to mention that the mimmosa is in flower here giving a lovely splash of yellow wherever it grows. Another wonderful day, blue sky and sunshine. I hope to have a short and probably rather cool swim later in the day. I give the sun a chance to warm the water before I get in!!
