| Good Morning and its going to be a glorious 4th.
Weather is great although thundershowers remain a possibility. Festivities on the National Mall will begin later today to be capped by a fireworks display tonight. We will be at home today, barbequing in the backyard. I’ll be cooking some baby-back ribs. And of course you all are invited.
The 4th of July celebrates the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Wikipedia web site provides a good overview of the Declaration of Independence and events surrounding its signing. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Declaration_of_Independence

| Happy 4th Don. I'm on my way round with a few bottles of red. Should be a good one. The weather should hold and I can taste the ribs already. A little more BBQ sauce please. Hope you and your's have a great one. Love to all. Daz xxx _________________ My family are like stars in the night sky of my life. Always there at the end of the day. | Hi all & Cheers Don, we'll all be there in spirit!! & I love this image of you at the barbecue, hehehehe
Isn't that great!!
A day of celebrations all round, American Independence Day and we have three Smith descendents' 4th July birthdays too - Jean's daughter Beth, my niece Zoe, and Daz's grandson Ellis!! & not forgetting Daz's son Mikey's Christening anniversary.
And to top it all - did you know that today is the 60th birthday of our British National Health Service!! A lady who was the first baby to be born under the NHS was on TV earlier, celebrating her 60th birthday with her children, grandchildren and first great-grandchild on the way!!
Hope everyone has a good weekend, cheers, Carole
