I notice that Edward Smith, the Captain is not included here, so must be a separate list for the Crew. In fact, on reflection I think I might have the crew list saved somewhere on my computer. Will check for this some time soon.
Anyone related to any of these Smiths? or have any further information about any of them? Who died? Who survived, if any? If so - hope you'll post info here?
Thanks, |
Have posted the copy above here on our North America Board as, if any of these passengers named SMITH did survive the Titanic disaster, its most likely that any descendents of theirs will be in America now.
Does anyone know whether there are separate lists published of survivors and/or those who were lost? It would be interesting to follow-up all this sometime, and to discover if any of these persons named Smith did survive the tragedy.
Discovered an online digitised Titanic News Reports Archive which is interesting.... no transcriptions, you have to view and read the actual images....... Mostly US & Canadian newspapers..TitanicArchive.com http://www.titanicarchive.com/Home.aspx That will be interesting to explore, I'll bet! _________________ Carole, Smith Project/Smith Chat Admin Nothing is too small to know, and nothing too big to attempt (William Van Horne) |
