Chellin Commiserations on your loss, but it was a really good game wasn't it. Most of the game they were going goal for goal, if only Pavlicic had kicked straighter. You asked if I went to the Grand Finals, NO, I havn't been to a football match since I was about 11 yrs old. My interest (until I met Cath) was in athletics. I was a member of the local running club for about 10 yrs. Hope Essendon can do better tomorrow night Cheers John

Hi John Like you said if we had kicked straight we could have won that game, I think our coach should concentrate on that this week. It had made it really hard now for us to get into the top eight. Good luck tomorrow, I will be watching the game and thanks for helping Michelle out on her thread. Take care and speak soon Chellin

Chellin Thanks for that. Yes it really was a nail biter. It's a good job I have a pace maker. Those last few minutes could have been a heart stopper otherwise. Next week doesn't get any better, we've got WCE but you stand a better chance against the Tiges at Subiaco. Good Luck John

Congrats Chellin At the start I didn't think you were going to win but Fremantle fought back strongly. sorry it took me so long to answer, but I had to give my pacemaker battery time to recharge, the last couple of weeks have had it working overtime. I just hope next week isn't as close. John

Thanks John I felt the same, useless in the first half. I think the crowd would have killed them if they had lost thats why they fought back lol Have a good week and see what happens next weekend Chellin

Hi Chellin Yes a glass or two or three might help raise the spirits. At least Fremantle went down fighting, I don't know why Essendon even turned up lol. At least we've got 2 weeks to recover. John

Hi John I thought Fremantle just gave up, the first half they had it sown up. Still like you say two weeks rest and time for them to contemplate. At least you are in the top eight, I think our chances are dashed now. Anyway good luck in the next round and at least I can barrack for Essenden at the end lol Chellin

Chellin My poor old nerves can't stand much more of this, i've bitten my nails off at the elbows lol. Thank goodness your boys had a much easier win. Can one man make all that difference? Hope we can both keep on winning, until the 12th August when the dockers will DEFINITELY lose. regards John
