Good morning all.

We will leave the musical theme for now. Here is a picture of an event that I stumbled across many years ago.

Who are these people and what are they doing?

Morning Don,

Well it looks as though it might be a Funeral - maybe a State Funeral?? But I haven't the foggiest idea whose. Will have another think about it.

Anyone else recognise it? :wave2:

Japanese Bridal Couple

In the early 80's, we (my family and I) had the opportunity to travel in the Far East. One of the places we went was Tokyo; actually went there a couple of times. The picture is of a Japanese bridal couple and the event is a Shinto wedding. I took the picture at the Meiji Shrine (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meiji_Shrine) which is open to the public.

When I was a child, mid 50's, my father was stationed in Japan. My parents had the opportunity to attend a Japanese wedding as friends of the groom. My mother later attended a doll making class and made a doll of a Japanese bride. My observation is; be thankful you only had to deal with a wedding dress. wave
