The Beagle Log, 19 September 2007 - What Bridge/City is this

Good Morning Chatters,

For you bridge enthusiasts - what bridge is this?
At this end of the bridge and behind where I was standing is a WWII fortification that most tourist don't get to. It is one of the few places in the States that had 16 in naval guns as part of the coastal defenses.

And for everyone else, what city is in the background?
A hint, this is where Tony Bennett left his heart.

Well I don't know the name of the Bridge (fabulous photo Don)
but I'm thinking that the place is where - according to a 1960's
"Flower Power" song - you had to be sure to wear some flowers
in your hair, if you went there ????
