| Good Morning, This bronze statue is on the grounds of the Kotokuin Temple. It is 13.35 meters tall and is over 800 years old. We visited the temple in 1983 and the statue was impressive. What is the name of this statue and where is it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Don

| Good morning Don, Heck - big statue!! I don't know if it has a special name other than Buddha, but my first guess is that it is somewhere in China ????? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Carole, Smith Project/Smith Chat Admin Nothing is too small to know, and nothing too big to attempt (William Van Horne)

| Hi Don! '35.35ms tall and 800yrs old' well that cuts me down to size and makes me look like a 'spring chicken' again! I guess it was in Korea?and called Buddha. Other than that I plead ignorance. Gillian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ''What will survive of us is love.''Philip Larkin
