A Smith Project Member
someone researching Smith Family History of Lancashire, W.R. Yorkshire and/or the Isle of Man. And, at some time since July 2005 submitted their interests to the Project for inclusion in the Smith Interests List.
Smith Project Member ID
is numerical & is used for cross-referencing entries in the A-Z first names index to the Interests Summary in the numerical listing. There is no Login needed to access the Smith Interests List.
A Smith Chat Member
anyone at all who has registered at Smith Chat, whether Smith Project Members or others.
Smith Chat Forums Username
you choose this for yourself, when you register at Smith Chat, along with your choice of password. Needed for each time you log-in here. (Smith Project Members can choose to use their Project ID as all or part of their Forums Username if they like, but not essential)
Smith Project Members Usergroup?
A special "Usergroup" at the Smith Chat Forums.
Members of this Usergroup are both Smith Project & Smith Chat Members.
